Mission Statement
The mission of the Youth Ministry at The King’s Harvest is to INVEST in young people in sixth through twelfth grade to establish a foundation for building Christian character, morals, values and behaviors; through INSTRUCTION and by using creative and innovative methods to excite, INSPIRE, capture and IGNITE young people for Jesus. Our goal is to enable young people to understand and recognize who Jesus is and what it is to have a personal relationship with Him, and firm meaningful connections with one another.
Vision Statement
Our vision is to respond to the social and spiritual needs of the youth within our church and community by providing relative programs, activities, and events that will allow them to build a strong foundation of faith. In doing so, that will enable them to express and share their faith through their own words, actions and deeds; to encourage them to use their individual talents in programs and ministries that interest them in order to nurture their growth in Jesus and be His hands and feet to others.

How We Believe God Would Have Us Accomplish the Mission
In order to accomplish the “vision” God has given us, the “mission” will be guided by the following core values:
INVEST
1. Time— We commit to investing in our youth by spending quality time with them.
2. Love— We commit to investing in our youth by loving them unconditionally as a child of God.
3. Prayer— We commit to investing in our youth by praying for and with them faithfully.
4. Mentoring—We commit to investing in our youth by mentoring them through through discipleship and relationship.
INSTRUCT
5. Teaching— We commit to instructing our youth in the core values of the Christian faith in ways that
creatively engage their hearts and minds.
6. Equipping— We commit to instructing our youth to help equip them to grow spiritually while using practical tools to help them in their walk with God.
INSPIRE
7. Modeling— We commit that in order to inspire our youth, we ourselves must be passionate followers of Jesus Christ
and living our lives as an example of faith and love.
8. Challenging—We commit that in order to inspire our youth, we must challenge them to live for Jesus with all of their heart, and maintain a relationship with Him daily.
IGNITE
9. Mobilizing— We commit that in order to ignite our youth with a passion for Christ and others we must
regularly create opportunities for them to worship, serve the in church, minister to the needy, and evangelize the lost.
10. Launching—We commit that in order to ignite our youth and properly “launch” them into their future, we must prepare them for the spiritual and practical things of life.
